The Brasilindia is an organization working in the Amazon rainforest area with local tribes for local herbs to cure ailments. Claudia, a member of the organization, visited Parivartan School and the village Kanda last week with her team of Ayurvedic doctors Mr. Shishir Marma specialist, Dr. Maurya from Parmarth Niketan Rishikesh and Dr. Deshraj and Yoga specialist Mr. Kaivalya from Bengaluru. The team examined all students and teachers, staff of Parivartan Grameen Samaj Sevi Sanstha, and villagers of the area. They also introduced local herbs which are almost forgotten by the people of this Himalayan region. Once the Nani and Dadi knew all about it but nowadays all have forgotten.
